DESCRIPTION: APW - Hamilton, Grade 992B, 21J, 16S, gold-filled OF original Hamilton Model 11 case, white enamel SS dial, SW-LS, fully capped lever escapement, mono-metallic balance with Elinvar hairspring, striped pattern nickel damascene, s#C160180. Watch comes with its original flip-top hard plastic box, its original outer box with end label bearing correctly matched serial numbers and dial info, and with a Hamilton guarantee certificate. An excellent complete and original example, highlighted by its hard plastic box in rarely seen black color.
CONDITION: Mvt: Running, excellent-plus cosmetic mvt condition overall, some abrasion to inner perimeter of barrel bridge adjacent regulator adjustment screw, few micro-fine scratches elsewhere; dial with very faint perimeter hl at setting lever area; excellent hands, fine scratch across minute near its mid-point; case shows very little wear, few small nicks to band, excellent engraving detail, tiny specks of wear to brass to high edges of "shoulders" of band adjacent pendant, some tarnish around pendant area; tight bow, crown shows light wear; good glass crystal; inner box shows very little wear, foil Hamilton seal is present, blue inserts are present, lid liner is present; outer box shows light wear and some typical soiling, upper portion with plastic tape to exterior securing two corners, lower portion with two corners currently split and with two corners secured by plastic tape internally; guarantee certificate is excellent.
